Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

The artist JUST from Berlin belongs to the most important photographers of the Grafitti- and Streetart-Scene. Since 10 years he photographs artists, who already became icons, and documents in brilliant pictures the peaks of urban culture. For the first time now he presents a selection of his best artist portraits and Streetart photos in the ATM-GALLERY in Berlin.

ADD TO BASKET

Saturday, October 24th, 2009

I really like this stencil. Everyone of us is doing it – adding things to basket. And if we come to think of it, it‘s ridiculous.
„This stencils are just the representation of the irony that we‘re livin‘ between this state of shitty economics, result of the over consumption and loads of publicity that everyday we are bombed in. Not only over internet but everywhere even facing a serious economical breakdown… They pretend to ironize the „add to basket/cart“ signs over all web…“
More oft the stencil you can see at FLICKR.

Monday, October 12th, 2009

The belgian designer LIESBET BUSSCHE creates jewelry for urban space. Huge barrier-chains become a pendant, concrete balls become pearls for earrings. The artist is currently exhibiting at the „What’s New?“
exhibition at GALERIE SOFIE LACHAERT until 8th November 2009.

Just found a nice video – in collaboration with VW / Volkswagen.
Here the translation:
„Can we get more people to choose the stairs by making it more fun?
66% more than normal chose the stairs before the escalator
Joy can obviously change the behavior
We call it having fun theory“

SHADOWS & SCARS

Thursday, August 13th, 2009

I just felt in love with TR853-1’s Shadows & Scars. Great idea to use the shadows on the streets to put some skaters on the walls. Brilliant!
