Impressive concept by Seunghan Song: A mobile phone that makes accurate weather predictions and even changes it’s display to reflect the climatic conditions outdoors.
The next few days there will be no posts; I’ll take a little rest, meet some old friends and drink Cocktails. With this in mind… have a great weekend!

The PLAYBOARD MAGAZINE goes digital. Now available for 0,79 € on iTUNES for iPhone or iPod Touch. The design is probably the first fully illustrated design book with 10 unreleased layout designs from the early days of the „Playboard Magazine”. This volume aspires to offer a creative illustrated book for graphic and magazine designers. The book brings together first-class international photographs and layouts from past editions of „Playboard Magazine” focusing on skateboarding and snowboarding.

Today I stumbled on James Joyce’ studio ONE FINE DAY, based in London. James Joyce is a great artist and designer. In his studio he produces limited edition prints of his work. Also he has a huge list of clients.
A very nice installation he did for the Carhartt flagship store in Covent Garden, London. Nice wall prints and other wartwork. The exhibition ran for 2 months.

The spanish Designer OSCAR DIAZ designed a prototype calendar which is self-updating daily until the end of the month. Each month having a color related to our perception of the weather on that month – dark blue in December or green in spring. The „Ink Calendar” was part of the exhibition time at the London Design Festival 2007. Pretty nice idea.
